Introduction to Knitting Class 1 of 2 (Registration required)

These sessions are suitable for anyone who has an interest in knitting.
You will learn the basics of how to begin and complete a simple scarf.
Instruction outline:
- Definition of knitting
- Different types of knitting needles
- Abbreviations and terms
- Four (4) basic steps to complete a scarf –
Long tail cast on
Knit stitch
Standard bind-off
Weave in ends
- How to read a simple pattern

Needles and yarn will be provided.
These sessions are designed for ages 13 to adult and class size is limited to six (6). Sessions are made of 2 classes: Monday, April 11 and Thursday, April 14 .
